This is what YOU need!
If you are a medical student doing your rounds in the various surgery departments, from general surgery to Opthalmology and Anesthesia, this is the book for you!
"Clinical Surgery" is a BEAUTIFUL book. The colors and the wonderful illustrations make reading it simple and enjoyable and remembering the details easier. The material is written in a clear manner and the content is just as deep as a medical stusdent needs it to be inorder to grasp the essentials of surgery in the time devoted for the different surgical departments.

I have looked into various books of surgery and I can confidently say that "Clinical surgery" is the book that every medical student needs! When I first set hands on this book I felt I am holding a treasure in my hands and when I looked at the beautiful illustrations I was astonished and very happy and when I started reading it I understood that I have finally found the book I REALLY NEED!

Thank you Saunders for this wonderful book! It really proves that when the book is "Saunders" it just has to be great! :)

Coaching Youth Soccer: A Complete Guide for Coaches, Players, and Parents
Published in Paperback by Coaches Choice (November, 2002)
Authors: Howie Thompson and Terry Butcher
Average review score:

What a Godsend!
As a reluctant "volunteer" coach for my daughter's soccer team, my previous soccer experience consisted of watching the Carolina Courage play. I knew I needed help and turned to my local bookstore for a "Soccer for Dummies" type book. What I found, instead, was this wonderful book by Coach Thompson. It is concise, humorous, informative and jam-packed with ideas for making coaching fun. He doesn't leave anything out and the plays that are included are presented in such detail, even I could understand them! I highly recommend this book for any coach, parent or soccer lover.

Commando Dagger : The Complete Ilustrated History Of The Fairbairn-Sykes Fighting Knife
Published in Paperback by Paladin Press (January, 1985)
Author: Leroy Thompson
Average review score:

Money well spent.
I have really struggled to obtain collectors information on the FS commando knife for a while now, this book seemed to be the answer. How wrong I was, this reference book IS the answer. Identification of various knives is a breeze, and I have been able to ID 2 (same) of mine that had I had no idea what thier origin was. I have one though that I cannot match though. In my opinion this was money well spent.

Concentric Circles of Concern: Seven Stages for Making Disciples
Published in Paperback by Broadman & Holman Publishers (September, 1999)
Authors: W. Oscar Thompson, Oscar W., Jr Thompson, Claude V. King, Carilyn Thompson Ritzmann, and Carolyn T. Ritzman
Average review score:

New Paradigm For Evangelism
This book is helping change our church and the way we do outreach and evangelism. The author's premise is that we cannot reach the world for Christ if we are not reaching our families, friends or inner-circles first. If there are any broken relationships or "ruptured relationships" in a christian's life, then we are not able to go and share the gospel message honestly with anyone. It is a powerful book that is very blunt and sometimes slaps you in the face with the honesty and insight of the author.

Concert Life in Puerto Rico, 1957-1992: Views and Reviews
Published in Hardcover by Univ Puerto Rico Pr (February, 1999)
Authors: Donald Thompson and Francis Schwartz
Average review score:

Of incalculable benefit... Valuable for use and pleasure.
The benefit for an understanding of musical politics, for standards of performance, for audience civility and for musicology in general, has been incalculable, and it is hard to see how existing standards in any of these fields can be maintained, much less improved without continuous and patient prodding and the occasional outpouring of bile from such a source. Let music lovers, makers, administrators and editors, all please take note! " Concert Life in Puerto Rico" is therefore valuable for use and imporvement but also for pleasure. Who can resist a book that contains cracks like, "the orchestra sounded like a faulty zipper," or that compares the first act of Tosca to La Boheme played backwards?!

Concise Handbook for New Managers (Applications in Management Series)
Published in Paperback by Scott Foresman Trade (March, 1990)
Author: Brad Lee Thompson
Average review score:

An excellent book that has been supplemented by '96, well
Thompson's 1990 book should have been rewritten not totally revised. His 1996 book also has its strengths and weaknesses and earns a "9" too. I taught some college courses in management using this book as a supplement and the students loved it, both traditional and nontraditional. For those fortunate to have this book, keep it. For those who can't get it, Thompson's newer reading has some of the same gems and covers more material. Both are recommended very highly, although the newer book can be obtained. Dr. Alan D. Confederate General of the West: Henry Hopkins Sibley
Published in Paperback by Texas A&M University Press (April, 1996)
Authors: Jerry Thompson and Leonel Garza
Average review score:

The Good The Bad and The Ugly was based on this Campaign
General Sibley was in charge of the Confederate Army that invaded New Mexico in 1862. He drank a bit! This bit of Civil War history never makes it into the books. This book is very informative and is very good reading. In "The Good, the Bad and the Ugly" this is the Civil War campaign that the film is based around.
